Peng Junhua successively worked in Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Guangdong Ocean University, Colorado State University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Monsanto, and China Seed Corporation. He is currently the associate editor of Frontiers in Plant Science and the editor of Agronomy. He has 16 years of rice genetics and field breeding experience, 25 years of wheat molecular genetics and breeding research experience, 4 years of maize quantitative genetics research experience, and 7 years of R&D management experience in major domestic and foreign seed companies. Dedicated to the research of crop genetics and breeding for a long time, involving many fields from classic quantitative genetics to modern molecular genetics and breeding, covering important crops such as wheat, rice, and corn, published 128 papers, of which 92 are SCI, and the cumulative impact factor is 417, has been cited more than 6000 times.
