● In March 2019, the first invention patent was authorized.
● In September 2019, Higentec moved to a new location.
● In December 2019, CITIC Agricultural Biotechnology was introduced as the largest shareholder.
● In April 2020, renamed "Higentec".
● In May 2020, Yuelu Mountain Seed Industry Innovation Center started operation, with Huazhi Biological as the key common technology platform.

Formation period
2013–2015

● On August 30, 2013, it was established in Changsha Longping High-tech Park.
● In April 2014, the relevant leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Hunan Province held an on-site office meeting to coordinate the settlement of construction land issues.
● In June 2014, it was approved as the "National Rice Molecular Breeding Platform".
● In December 2015, the industry-leading molecular breeding laboratory was equipped.

Construction period
2016-2018

● In May 2016, Higentec was approved as the provincial "Postdoctoral Research Mobile Station Collaborative R&D Center" and "Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base".
● In April 2017, Higentec obtained the qualification certificate of crop seed quality inspection agency and became the first non-public third-party seed quality inspection agency in China.
● In September 2017, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences successfully developed a 56K rice SNP chip.
● In September 2017, Higentec was approved as the "Key Laboratory of Crop Whole Genome Breeding of Hunan Province".
● In February 2018, the company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise.
● In October 2018, the Ministry of human resources and social security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee awarded the "postdoctoral research workstation" to the company.
